New Year Updates

There have been quite a few positive changes under way here at Stelmark that were initiated with the goal of streamlining and expanding our products and services. From developing product prototypes to increasing our social media presence, you could say we are heralding in the New Year and looking forward to future projects and opportunities.

Along with a much needed update for this blog, we now have brand new Facebook and LinkedIn pages where we would like to invite you to take take a look, comment, and connect with us. Additionally, we also plan to launch an all-new mobile-friendly website soon so check back here or on the afore mentioned pages for the "grand opening".

Stelmark completes A&W National Menuboard Roll-out

Stelmark is celebrating the successfull completion of phases 5, 6 & 7 of the A&W Restaurant national menuboard rollout project. The rotating illuminated menuboards were manufactured and shipped from our production facility to 300 A&W Restaurants across Canada. The numerous parts required to manufacture each illuminated menuboard module were designed, engineered & created in house. Every menuboard was carefully assembled and tested before it was ready for shipment. Production time was limited to less than four months, with deliveries scheduled at specific intervals throughout each month. Stelmark met every delivery target throughout the project to completion on August 24th. A&W has over 740 Restaurants throughout Canada with over 600 retrofitted with the new Stelmark Day-Part Menuboard.

It is our pleasure to announce that Stelmark now has full digital capability with our purchase of the Oce Arizona 350GT. We have spent the last 6 months upgrading our software, training our staff and even building a special clean room to house our new baby.

Our knowledgeable and skilled digital staff are ready to put your images to print using eco friendly UV curable inks with vibrant colors and amazing resolution.

Capabilities:

UV Curable inks in Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and White
Increadible printing speeds of 250 square feet per hour at near photograpic image quality.
True Flatbed, capable of printing full 4' x 8' indoor or outdoor rigid material up to 2 inches thick edge to edge.
True roll-to-roll for printing from 36"- 86" wide by any roll length and on an assortment of media including self adhesive / pressure sensitive vinyl, banner and textiles.

Stelmark receives Award of Excellence

We are proud to announce an A&W Award of Excellence has been presented on behalf of A&W Restaurants to Stelmark Products for our rotating illuminated menuboard system that is currently being implemented throughout all
A&W's Canadian franchised network. We scored an amazing 4.4 out of 5.0 for Manufacturing Excellence at the A&W National Convention held in New Orleans in early March of this year.

Welcome to the very first Blog post for Stelmark Products. I thought it would be most appropriate that the first picture posted would be that of our amazingly talented staff. Without them, Stelmark would not exist! This photo was taken at our last Christmas party (Hence the rosey cheeks and Santa hats)

We are like a family here with many of us approaching the 10, 20 and 30 years of service mark. There must be a special reason as to why so many of us call this place 'home'.
